Omschrijving
Gynny is a small female, chipped, vaccinated, has passport, insured with OHRA and registered at NDG. She is almost 8kg and looks like a Corgi-mix, with a long back. Gynny's teeth have been cleaned at the vet's in April. She has a lot of toys, clothes, orthopedic bed, leashes, food toys, she even has a day care space at Happy Dogs at Zeeburgereiland... now she is only missing you!
Gynny came from Romania in January 2024 and has since then lived with us in Amsterdam, staatsliedenbuurt where we are trying our best to get her used to city life. She enjoys running in Westerpark and going to day care with her chihuahua friend. We are looking for the one and only home for our Gynny since we only planned to foster her for some months.
We don't have a lot of information about Gynny's past other than "born in a kill-shelter with 2 sisters" and she was raised in a shelter with many dogs.
She is still learning to trust people in the city. Gynny is scared of traffic and loud noises but she loves being outside in parks. She loves playing with most dogs we meet. She never showed any signs of discomfort with dogs outside or at daycare. She does, however, have some reactivity around the people she likes, food + dogs (resource guarding). She is also scared of men in the beginning but trusted my boyfriend within 2 weeks! She needs time and training to ease out some small behavioural issues. She is still so young!
Gynny is such a loving little dog and if you give her a chance, she will grow to love you as much as she loves us. We will only consider a new owner who will sign a serious contract with us, will promise to keep her insured in OHRA, and where you are interested to come several times and get to know her. We will not give her away to just anyone. We will only ask for a small adoption fee to cover our adoption cost of her, but you will get all of her things entirely for free!

We fostered Gynny from a stichting and when it was hard for her to be promoted through them, we decided to adopt her to be able to work on her behaviour, get her proper medical care (full vaccinations and teeth cleaning) and just give her the best possible chance to find her own home! We have had her since January and our own chihuahua has accepted her, but because he is so small, it is not possible for them to have a good life together. She is very young, energetic and bigger than him... and he is 2.3kg, old and very grumpy. Gynny deserves a home where she can really be a happy puppy!
We would like to ask for 275 Euro for adoption fee, just to cover our many expenses. All toys, clothes, bed, etc, will be given for free (and she has very good quality things!).
